Sophie Lamparter is Head of Public Programs, swissnex San Francisco, a public-private venture that connects Switzerland and the United States in science, art, innovation and technology. As an event organizer, she initiates various art+technology and art+science projects and creates platforms for knowledge exchange between the two countries, the Urban Data Challenge is one of them. Sophie worked previously at Pro Helvetia, the Swiss Arts Council, where she was defining and operating the entire communication for several impulse programs like GameCulture.
