Hannes Gassert is an entrepreneur/activist living in Geneva and Berlin. He is a board member and hackday organizer at Switzerland’s open data initiative Opendata.ch and a startup founder at Liip, the agency who designed, built and opensourced the first Swiss public transport app. Currently Hannes is launching Skim.com, building a playful people discovery app and at Lift, a radical innovation conference in Geneva. At all these places he works at the intersection of technology, media and culture and stands up for open standards, open source and open data.
